Bruce has more than 40 years of experience in commercial property brokerage, finance, property management, syndication and accounting. He is the founder of Granite Capital Group, a firm that provides an extensive platform of commercial real estate services encompassing sponsored investment funds for accredited investors and customized advisory asset management and 1031 exchanges. In 2017, he co-founded Granite Management Group with Jason McIntosh. Prior to founding Granite Capital Group, Bruce was co-founder of Granite Peak Partners, a real estate investment firm. His previous experience includes serving as president of IEC Real Estate Corporation and owning and operating his own real estate brokerage. He has personally brokered more than 100 multi‐million‐dollar properties, created and managed real estate syndications comprised of $725 million in holdings, and raised over $125 million in investment capital. A certified public accountant, Bruce has a background in accounting and finance, equipping him with a strong foundation for understanding and facilitating major real estate transactions. Bruce is married with two adult children, and lives in Santa Barbara, California. He enjoys yoga, backpacking, biking, power and sail boating, and gourmet cooking.
Brandon comes to Granite Capital Group with nearly 20 years accounting and finance experience, as well as 10 years’ experience in real estate sales and brokerage management. Just prior to joining GCG, Brandon spent 6 years as the Director of Finance for an international life sciences company and aided in their rapid expansion. Brandon is especially skilled in the areas of accounting systems automation, financial analysis, database administration, and analytical dashboard construction. His work in the area of accounting systems automation and dashboard analytics has allowed his employers and clients to leverage their financial data into acute decision making. Brandon is currently working in his CPA license. Aside from finance and real estate, Brandon is passionate about giving back to the community of Santa Barbara via numerous community service organizations, including as a board member of Old Spanish Days and Fiesta.
Evan Geeb is the Vice President of Acquisitions at Granite Capital Group. He has been involved with the acquisition, disposition, development and operations of over 1,400 multifamily units ($280MM in aggregate). He has assisted with $85 million of Limited Partner equity raising needed for acquisitions of existing properties as well as ground up development. Starting at Granite Capital Group in April 2011, as an Associate Analyst/Investor Relations, he assisted in the underwriting, financial modeling, and due diligence of potential acquisition targets as well as supported the communication efforts with investors and the capital raise process. Currently, Evan is responsible for sourcing, underwriting and closing new investments, including acquisitions, dispositions and developments. He is focused on sourcing, securing and managing Granite Capital Groups relationships with lenders, brokers and other sources of deal flow. Evan completed his MBA at the Graziadio Business School at Pepperdine University. He completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Southern California in the Marshall School of Business with a minor in Real Estate Finance. During his free time, you can find Evan enjoying the many activities that Santa Barbara offer–mainly surfing, tennis and golfing.
Daniel Fleming joined Granite Capital Group(GCG) in 2019 as an Associate Analyst where he assists in the underwriting, financial modeling, and the due diligence process of potential acquisition targets. Daniel brings a background in accounting, real estate software, and professional client service. Prior to joining GCG, Daniel began his professional career in real estate as an Assurance Associate at PricewaterhouseCoopers auditing public real estate development companies, joint ventures, and funds. He transitioned to a forward-facing accounts role as an Account Executive at Yardi Systems where he managed accounts for Yardi’s commercial real estate clients in the Southwest. His biggest drivers are integrity, careful analysis, and exceptional client service. Daniel graduated from University of California, Santa Barbara with a B.A. in Economics and Accounting. During his free time, you can find Daniel cycling through the Santa Barbara hills, enjoying the winter surf, or playing tennis. He is also a big fan of country music from Conway Twitty to Kenny Chesney.
Amber Schulte provides Granite Capital Group with over 20 years of experience in publication and managing investor relations including all outward facing offering and marketing materials. Her extensive professional experience spans development of book covers and production of catalogs, collateral and correspondence. She oversees Granite Capital’s extensive efforts to communicate with it’s investors keeping them current with the company’s new offerings, objectives and pertinent and valuable information regarding their investments. Prior to joining Granite Capital Group, Amber worked for ABC-CLIO, a publishing company. She started her career there and worked in marketing for the three product lines. She directed over 80 book cover designs a year, managed production of multiple correspondence, collateral, and catalogs, as well as participated in the various conferences. She went on to work for Silverander Communications in Santa Barbara continuing her development in marketing and project management. She earned her B.A. in English from University California, Santa Barbara. A native of Santa Barbara she enjoys dancing and spending weekends with her beautiful children.
